The National Brewery Center is in the heart of Burton on Trent, and is a monument to the towns brewing heritage and the brewing industry in general. The building boasts a large function room, a performance area, a brewing museum, and a permanent marquee.
It is the marquee and the dining center that we are interested in as a venue, as these both provide excellent areas for weddings and parties.
The Worthington Suite
The Worthington suite (named after one of Burtons Landmark Beers) is an intimate venue for around 80 guests. It is adjacent to the main bar area ‘The Brewery Tap’ via folding doors, yet also has its own private bar area for guests. It’s a very well appointed room and has more than enough character for an intimate wedding reception for friends and family.
The Hop Marquee
This is the main area of the Brewery center for larger events, weddings, and banquets. It seats around 250 people in its 30×15 metre floor space. It offers all the advantages of a marquee wedding, but being in a major venue it also comes with increased atmosphere and attractions. Outside, it opens out onto the facade of ‘The Joiners Shop’, along with many old items and vehicles which make for perfect and unusual wedding pictures. A large bar, dance floor and stage for band or pianist completes the package.
The Brewery center really is an excellent venue for your wedding or function.
